KUALA LUMPUR: The highly-anticipated Lotus Emira i4 First Edition has finally made its way to the local market. Lotus Cars Malaysia is now accepting bookings for the sports car at a special price of RM 998,800 (on the road, without insurance). Included in the price is a three-year, unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects. The deliveries are expected to begin in November 2023.

    Lotus Emira i4 First Edition

    Powering the Malaysia-spec Lotus Emira i4 First Edition is an AMG-sourced 2.0-litre turbocharged aluminium engine generating a maximum power of 365 PS at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 430 Nm from 3,000 to 5,500 rpm. The engine is coupled with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to run from zero to 100 kmph in 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 290 kmph.

    Just like the Emira V6, the new Emira i4 First Edition also underpins the bonded aluminium Lotus Sports Car Architecture. It is paired with a double wishbone suspension setup with Eibach springs and Bilstein monotube dampers and AP Racing brakes with 370 mm front and 350 mm rear rotors. The car runs on 20-inch forged wheels shod 245/35 front and 295/30 rear tyres.

    • Convenience Pack adds front parking sensors, a rear reversing camera, rain-sensing wipers with aero blades, auto-dimming mirrors and a rear luggage storage net
    • Lotus Drivers Pack offers Tour or Sports suspension systems and Track Mode ESP

    The Lotus Emira i4 First Edition colour palette comprises a total of 13 options to choose from. These include - Hethel Yellow, Magma Red, Dark Verdant, Seneca Blue, Vivid Red, Atlantis Blue, Osmium Silver, Nimbus Grey, Meridian Blue, Shadow Grey, Mist White, Zinc Grey, and Cosmos Black.
