For those who aren’t aware, the GS3 Emzoon is a compact SUV known for being the perfect blend of performance, technology, and affordability. Now, being locally produced by Chong Motor Assemblies (TCMA), the moves allow GAC to offer more competitive pricing and support the local economy by boosting employment and manufacturing capacity.

Variants & Price

The locally-assembled GAC is now offered in not just two, but three variants; all of which are manufactured by Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (TCMA) in Segambut. In addition to the already available Exclusive and Premium-R, the compact SUV now gets a new Standard variant which is aimed at budget-conscious buyers. The three Emzoom trims are priced as follows -

Note, that part of the price tag is a five-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty. Also, the first 2,000 customers will receive a seven-year/180,000 km engine and transmission warranty.

All three variants of the 2024 GAC GS3 Emzoom are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 177 PS and 270 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), ensuring smooth acceleration and handling, whether in city traffic or on the highway.
