Lexus LX 570 Teaser Image Appears on Facebook Page

Kuala Lumpur: Recently Lexus Malaysia teased its all new Lexus LX 570 through its official Facebook page. A photo was published which shows us just the headlight of this new SUV. This teasing also hinted towards car's arrival in Malaysia. Earlier it was reported that LX 570 would arrive in Malaysia somewhere around the fourth quarter of 2015, and now this move of the automaker has only strengthened this report.

Towards the exterior, the refreshed Lexus LX 570 receives a lot of updates regarding its looks. The front fascia gets the brand's trademark spindle grille along with chrome surrounds. Further one can also notice new bumpers along with the grille. As clearly shown in the teaser image, the headlights feature LEDs as its lighting elements. These diodes can also be found in the taillights. Wheel options include huge 20-inch 10-spokes wheels and larger 21-inch wheels as well.

Inside, the cabin includes a lot of comfort features. The dashboard is integrated with a 12.3-inch head unit with Lexus’ Remote-Touch Interface. Further, the centre console features a panoramic view monitor and “Climate Concierge” automatic temperature control. At the back, rear passengers are blessed with 11.5-inch screens and USB ports as well as AC and audio controls embossed in the armrest.

Beneath the bonnet, it is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 petrol engine that churns out a maximum power of 383 hp along with a peak torque of 546 Nm. Further, this robust engine is mated to a new eight-speed automatic gearbox which replaces the old six-speed unit. Moreover, this SUV also features Drive Mode Select which include four modes namely – Eco, Comfort, Sport and Sport+. All of these modes have got their own throttle and Adaptive Variable Suspension setting.

The automaker has also blessed this car with an array of safety features. It gets the updated Lexus Safety System+ suite which includes a ten airbag mechanism, blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, tyre pressure monitoring system and an All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Apart from that, just like the whole LX range it is integrated with Intuitive Park Assist and SmartAccess System with card key.

So, finally we can expect it's Malaysian launch in near future.
