Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV Roadster officially unveiled
Kuala Lumpur: Automobili Lamborghini has officially unwrapped Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce, the topless successor of its Aventador SV hardtop. The Italian car maker wooed the audience when the camouflage was ripped off it recently at the 2015 Monterey Car week in California. According to sources, the topless Lambo carrying SV badge is set for a limited production of 500 units. It is 100 units less than its hardtop sibling.
Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said at its launch that, “The Superveloce is the purest, most sports-oriented and fastest series production Lamborghini ever. The Roadster version represents our commitment to satisfying our passionate clients with immensely emotional driving dynamics combined with an extraordinary open-air experience,”
Aventador's nameplate is widely eulogized for its two-piece carbon fibre roof featuring technologies such as RTM and Forged Composite, which proffers a perfect surface finish and maximum possible aerodynamics combined with low weight. The two roof parts each weigh less than six kg and can be easily bundled in the rear compartment. According to the sources, Lamborghini will start delivering the Aventador LP 750-4 SV Roadsters by early 2016 with a Lambo price tag of 357,000 euros (RM1,626,854), excluding taxes. Earlier only five units of the limited edition coupe were allocated to Malaysia and we predict the same number for the all-new Aventador Roadster.
