KUALA LUMPUR: Chery's sub premium SUV brand, JAECOO is starting to make a name for itself in South East Asia,  gaining even further momentum with the introduction of the JAECOO 6 EV in Thailand. In the land of smiles, the Chinese EV will be marketed under the name JAECOO 6 EV, while internationally, it's known as iCAR03.

    Equipped with a 69.8kWh battery pack, it offers a range of up to 470km according to the NEDC standard.

    When it comes to charging, the JAECOO 6 EV supports various types of charging, including Type 2 / CCS Combo chargers and fast DC charging up to 85kW. It can recharge the battery from 30 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes, allowing for a smoother and more efficient driving experience.

    Chery Thailand is gearing up to launch the JAECOO 6 EV (iCAR03) in Thailand this year, and in China, priced at around RMB 109,800 (around RM72k).
