JAC T9 dimensions
The JAC T9 is a double-cab pickup truck based on a ladder-frame construction. It measures 5,330 mm in length, 1,965 mm in width, and 1,920 mm in height and spans a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. The cargo bed is 1,520 mm long, 470 mm tall, and 1,590 mm wide.
The kerb weight is estimated at 2,055 kg while the payload capacity and towing capacity are 1,000 kg and 3,500 kg respectively. With a ground clearance of 210 mm, the vehicle has a water-wading depth of 800 mm.

The JAC T9 is powered by a 1.9-litre inline four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 170 PS at 3,600 rpm and a peak torque of 410 Nm from 1,500 rpm to 2,500 rpm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox mated to a part-time 4WD BorgWarner transfer case and electronically locking rear differential system.

The JAC T9 EV remains identical to the gas-powered model in terms of the overall vehicle and cargo bed dimensions. However, the ground clearance is slightly reduced at 205 mm.

The JAC T9 EV is visually distinguished from its diesel counterpart by its blue JAC emblems on the front grille, confirming its electric identity. The lighting elements, wheels, and tyres remain the same as the ICE model, however, the eco-friendly pickup truck lacks parking sensors and roof rails.
JAC T9 EV interior
Inside, the T9 EV shares many features with its diesel counterpart but has some notable differences. It comes with a single rotary selector instead of an electronic transmission selector and a 4WD dial found on the ICE model. Also, it offers electric adjustability only for the driver’s seat, unlike the latter.
JAC T9 EV drivetrain, range, and charging
Under the skin, the T9 EV houses electric motors on both front and rear ends; the front motor generates a maximum power of 95 PS while the rear unit is good for making 218 PS. The combined torque is rated at 516 Nm. The vehicle completes the century sprint in 8.4 seconds and clocks a top speed of 140 kmph.
Feeding the e-motors is an 88 kWh LFP battery that provides a WLTP-claimed range of 340 km. The battery supports up to 11 kW AC and up to 88 kW DC charging. The former charges the battery from 15% to 100% in six hours and 50 minutes, while the latter replenishes it from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes.

Just like the gas-powered model, the T9 EV is also a robust vehicle with features matching those of the diesel model. It includes - seven airbags, automatic emergency braking adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a driver monitoring system, and intelligent high beam control among other features.
