Interior images of 2020 Kia Seltos revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: Kia’s Korean consumer website has revealed the interior images of the upcoming Seltos SUV. Thus giving us an early look of the car’s behind the wheel setup.

As expected, the 2020 Seltos cabin looks very similar to that of the Cerato. However, there are a few distinguishing aspects.

Starting up, there’s a 10.25-inch floating-style infotainment system that sits above the dashboard. This unit comes tuned with the latest UVO 3.0 software and gets split-screen functionality. The Selto’s touchscreen will be complemented by Bose 8-speaker premium sound system.

2020 Kia Seltos cabin spec sheet includes -

• Colour head-up display
• 7.0-inch TFT driver’s multifunction display
• LED ambient cabin lighting
• Over-the-air software updates
• Remote start via an available smart key
• Multiple Bluetooth device connections at one time
• Wireless smartphone charging
• USB charge port at the rear
• Heated and ventilated front seats
• Second-row seat heating for the outboard pews

Further, seen in the images is a padded leatherette insert with visible stitching on the dashboard. In the pictures above it is visible in a brown shade.

The all-new Seltos will be available in three interior color choices in Korea - brown, black, and burgundy. As for the exterior, the paint choices include blue, black, grey, silver, orange, and white. Also, five dual-tone options will be on offer - yellow, white, blue, grey, and orange all with a contrasting black roof.

Alongside revealing the interior images of the car, the Korean website also mentioned the availability of driver assistance features. Part of this kit is features like - navigation-based adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, and driver attention warning.

In the Korean market, the car will be available in two engine configurations both displaying 1.6-litre displacement and both turbocharged - though one diesel and one petrol. Like all its models, this one too will feature a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission system, all-wheel drivetrain, and a multilink rear suspension.
