Hyundai Malaysia updates prices of its models
KUALA LUMPUR: Listen up folks, Hyundai Malaysia has issued a revised price list for its models. Below you can see the official revised price sheet. Analyzing which, we found no difference in the pricing (on-the-road without insurance) for Hyundai Tucson facelift, Ioniq Hybrid, and Elantra facelift.
The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is available in two variants, HEV and HEV Plus each now tagged at RM 99,888 and RM 115,888, respectively. The new Tucson is also offered in two trims, the Nu 2.0 MPI Elegance that now costs RM 123,888 and Gamma 1.6 T-GDI Turbo is priced at RM 143,888. As for the Elantra facelift, it is available in only one trim option, Nu 2.0 MPI Executive that can be your for RM 109,888.
It is the Hyundai Grand Starex that out of all seems a small jump of RM 3,000 in its price, i.e., from RM 148,888 to RM 151,888. This van was introduced in Malaysia at the 2018 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show last year. The people’s movers now display a more contemporary face with features like a sizeable U-shaped grille and bowl-shaped headlamps.
On the inside, the 11-seater Starex showcases equipment like six roof-mounted blowers for the three rows behind the driver, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, cruise control, 16-inch alloys, touchscreen head unit with navigation, eight-inch rear roof-mounted monitor with DVD player, ESC, and four airbags.
Powering the four-row Grand Starex is a 2.5-litre turbodiesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 170 PS along with a peak torque of 441 Nm. Sending power to the rear wheels is a five-speed automatic gearbox. Currently, the Grant Starex faces no direct competition in the local market and available in 4 color options.
