Own a Hyundai Grand Starex with Smart Lease Programme

KUALA LUMPUR: For those who are looking to buy a new premium MPV, Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors has a great deal on offer. The company launched the Hyundai Grand Starex Smart Lease Programme in partnership with Sime Darby Rent A Car, which involves an attractive three to five years lease programme with great savings.

Available for corporations, businesses as well as individuals, the Grand Starex lease programme offers a new vehicle at an agreed fixed monthly payment, a two-month deposit, and a booking fee of RM 500. It is applicable on all four Grand Starex variants viz. Standard Corporate, Executive Plus without body kits, Executive Plus with body kits, and Executive Prime. The benefits include:

• Zero inflation
• Fixed monthly payment
• Lower deposit fee compared to a downpayment
• Flexibility at the end of term
• Less tax payable
• Free from car disposal
• Lease Rentals covering all soft costs (i.e. insurance, maintenance, etc.) of vehicles.

This means customers do not need to worry about the loan application, long-term maintenance cost, road tax and insurance, resale value, and also need not think about disposing of the vehicle. 

For a 5-year lease programme, the customers opting for Standard Corporate will need to pay a monthly amount of just RM 2000. Its mileage is capped at 15,000 km per annum with a car replacement benefit of three days. 

For increased mileage of 30,000 km per annum and 40,000 km per annum, they are required to pay a monthly amount of RM 3,250 and RM 3,550 respectively. In addition, Hyundai will offer a renewal with a brand new car when the lease agreement expires. As per HSDM, the five-year lease ownership will let the customers save a significant amount of RM 17,000.

To recap, the 11-seater Hyundai Grand Starex is equipped with a 2.5L turbo diesel engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include swivel seats on the second row, powered sliding doors, a suite of safety features, an overhead display monitor, cruise control, and more.
