Honda Malaysia introduces new range of engine oils

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia replaces the existing SN Grade engine oils with a new range of SP Grade, which now comes in a whole new packaging. It is formulated in accordance with the requirements of the brand’s own engines.

    Speaking about the benefits of the upgraded engine oil range, the new SP oils offer -

    • Stable performance and better fuel economy
    • Next level of protection against low-speed pre-ignition, which is an abnormal combustion phenomenon that can cause significant damage to the engine
    • Better timing chain wear protection that minimizes chain elongation
    • Improved high-temperature deposit protection for pistons and turbochargers
    • Better sludge and varnish control
    • Valve train and intake lifter wear protection
    • Higher oxidation stability
    • Emission control system protection

    Honda Malaysia’s new range of engine oils is now available at all authorised dealerships across the country.

    In addition, Honda Malaysia recently rolled out a flood relief programme for its customers impacted by the floods. Under this, the company is offering a 25% discount on genuine parts along with a free towing and inspection service and flood allowance of up to RM 1,500 to the existing Honda Insurance Plus (HiP) customers. It is only applicable to cars bought from Honda authorised dealers and will run till January 31, 2022.
