Honda introduces PM2.5 cabin air filter, currently limited to the Philippines
KUALA LUMPUR: Clean air is a must for a healthy lifestyle. While we have air purifiers at home, there is no such thing taking care of the air quality in cars. As a solution, Honda Philippines has introduced a PM2.5 cabin air filter that’ll ensure improved internal air quality. Note, PM in PM2.5 stands for Particulate Matter.
Compared to other air filters available in the market, this one is a high-efficiency filter know to capture 90 to 99 percent of particulate matter, like dust particles, volcanic ash, mold spores, and diesel & cigarette smoke.
The Honda PM2.5 cabin air filter works on two modes - external air introducing mode and internal air circulation mode. While the former shuts out dust and harmful particulate matter, the later catches dust and other harmful particles present inside the cabin.
Key features of the Honda PM2.5 cabin air filter -
- It cleans the air inside the cabin
- It produces a high volume of air compared to the standard cabin filter
Priced at Php 859 (approx, RM 73.58), the PM2.5 cabin filter needs to be replaced after one year, which is in line with the current periodic maintenance service interval of Honda Philippines.
Currently, Honda Philippines offers its new super-effective cabin air filter with the following cars in its lineup - Mobilio, Brio, Brio Amaze, Jazz, BR-V, City, and CR-V.
We hope Honda Malaysia brings such innovative and effective techs to the local market soon.
