KUALA LUMPUR: Honda has commenced the production of the e:N1, a 100% electric SUV, at its Rojana Industrial Park facility in Thailand. This makes the auto giant the first Japanese automaker to locally assemble electric passenger cars in the Land of Smiles.

    • It runs on a front-mounted electric motor that is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 204 hp and a peak torque of 310 Nm
    • The motor is fed by a 68.8 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP-claimed driving range of up to 412 km on a single charge. The DC fast charging juices up 10 to 80% battery in 45 minutes

    Honda Thailand will announce details of the e:N1 EV launch and distribution channels in the first quarter of 2024.
