Honda Concept D prototype spied for the first time
Kuala Lumpur: The Honda Concept D revealed at the Auto Shanghai 2015, has been found going through the testing procedure on the road. We have received a spy video for the SUV, which says the test run vehicle in the clip might be the Honda Concept D.
At the point of its debut presence at the Auto Show, Honda said their plan is to roll out a production version in 2016 exclusively for the Chinese market where it would act as the company's flagship model.

The mid-size SUV appears to look significantly toned down and seems to have a sloping rear window in the video. The rear bumper is shifted towards the tried and tested approach and the rear exhausts have been kept in oval shape replacing the triangular ones. The rear end will definitely be the most interesting or perhaps controversial part of the design and hopefully it will be less busy compared to the concept.
The most distinctive part of this SUV appears to be its one-piece bronze grille that have replaced the standard grille pattern. The front fascia stood out quite prominent alongside the rear profile and C-pillars. Whilst, the headlamps and front bumper seems to appear in the same pattern.

Little else is known about the production car, but Honda said during the Concept D's reveal the road-going model will have "advanced safety technologies and other advanced features" to be worthy of the range-topping status in China.
There’s no word as to when this new crossover will hit auto shows in production unit, but, until new details surface, we might as well have a closer look at the Concept D and its outlandish design.
