Honda Civic Tourer Active Life Concept to be Showcased at Frankfurt
Kuala Lumpur: Honda would be presenting its Civic Tourer Active Life concept at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. This concept has been created for keen cyclists who regularly transport their bikes with them. It would feature an option of either carrying their cycles in extendable roof rack or storing them inside the generous cargo space which has got a capacity of 1688-litre. It's smart loading rack is capable of transporting two bicycles at a time.

This Active Life features an integrated air pump, extra lighting, a shaded canopy with retractable bench and space for toolboxes and water bottles. This car also comes with its own water tank and front wheel holder. A special roof box has also been provided for that additional storage space. Overall, this concept study shows that how style and space can be worked together. Every inch of this car is designed with much practicality to deliver convenience to its occupants. Talking about the styling, the interior gains a black headliner, strips of blue trim on the dash along with blue contrast stitching on the steering wheel, centre console and door panels.
Moving towards the exterior, it has got a sleek and sporty accent to its body. Further, it is designed with an eye-catching three-tone blue, black and white paint. It sits on the new 18-inch alloy wheels and has a concept specific aerodynamic roof box designed to store equipment such as helmsmen and shoes. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engine which has recently set a new Guinness world record for fuel efficiency. It was able to deliver an impressive fuel efficiency of 2.82 litres per 100 km.
