Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV make world premiere at CES 2025

KUALA LUMPUR: The 2025 Consumer Electronics Show has kickstarted in Las Vegas with an array of jaw-dropping tech innovations. The Japanese automaker Honda is also one of the exhibitors,  representing its two 0 Series EV concepts and original vehicle operating system, the ASIMO OS, at the world’s best tech event.

The Honda 0 Series models comprises - Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV prototypes that will be introduced to global markets starting in 2026. Let’s know these vehicles in detail - 

Honda 0 Saloon

This is a more refined version of the 0 Saloon EV concept previewed at the 2024 CES show. It features a low height and sporty styling, setting it apart from other EVs.

The electric sedan is built on a new dedicated EV platform and incorporates the next-gen technologies aligned with the brand's “Thin, Light, and Wise” development philosophy. It will come equipped with advanced Level 3 automated driving and an ASIMO OS-powered "ultra-personal optimization" system.

Honda 0 SUV

This electric SUV concept underpins the Space-Hub concept model unveiled at CES 2024. It is also designed with the same “Thin, Light, and Wise” approach as the electric saloon and boasts a spacious cabin with a clear view and flexible interior.

The SUV is loaded with advanced technologies like the new ASIMO OS system and 3D gyro-based stabilization for smooth driving on any road. 

Both Honda 0 Series models will be offered in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive powertrain configurations, using new compact e-axle motors.

The entry-level variants will be powered by a 244-hp electric motor (mounted on the rear axle, offering a balanced and dynamic driving experience. The top-end variants, on the other hand, will have two electric motors, which is good for making a combined output of 488 hp. 

The production of the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV will begin in the US in 2026, followed by the launch in global markets, including Japan and Europe.
