Under the bonnet, we can find a hybrid setup comprising a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. The former generates a maximum power of 150 PS and a peak torque of 230 Nm, while the latter is tuned to make 177 PS and 300 Nm. Together, the setup kicks out 243 PS and 530 Nm of torque.

Sending power to the front wheels is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, also known as the Dedicated Hybrid Transmission.

The H6 is one of Haval's best-selling SUVs, available in over 60 countries, with 4 million units sold globally. The question remains - Will it stand out in Malaysia or just be another SUV in the crowd?
