Ford Malaysia introduces real-time e-service appointment booking

KUALA LUMPUR: Ford has introduced a real-time e-service appointment booking service for its customers. As the name suggests, through this new digital aid, customers will be able to manage and confirm their vehicle service appointments in real-time.

Currently, Ford Malaysia is offering this e-Sevice at seven of its authorised service centres located in Sarawak, Peninsular Malaysia, and Sabah, namely Ford Kota Kinabalu, Ford Ara Damansara, Ford Tawau, Ford Petaling Jaya 2, Ford Kuching, Ford Juru, and Ford Butterworth.

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion, Managing Director, Syed Ahmad Muzri Syed Faiz said "The expansion of the implementation for the real-time e-Service appointment booking will enable customers to immediately know the available vehicle service time slots at their chosen dealership. Delivering this added convenience is another demonstration of our commitment to providing a more seamless and digitised experience for our customers."

He further added that in the months to come, the company is planning to fully establish this real-time e-Service appointment booking throughout its network of over 40 dealerships nationwide.

 

To book a service appointment, customers have to follow a few simple steps -

• First, visite Ford Malaysia's official website - www.sdacford.com.my
• Second, click on the 'Book a Service' tab

• Next up, customers would need to choose their vehicle model, state, and preferred service centre from the drop-down list
• Available time-slots and date will then be shown, enabling customers to book service appointments one month in advance
• Lastly, customers will be asked to fill personal information like name, vehicle registration number, and contact details

Once all the entire process is completed, Ford will send a confirmation email to the customer.

Fret not, if going online and booking an appointment is not your thing, as calling an authorised Ford Service centre directly is also an option.
