Ford Direct Markets felicitates distributors across the globe

KUALA LUMPUR: The Ford Annual Chairman Programme was launched in the year 2016 with a view to acknowledge and felicitate the efforts of Ford Distributors who were successful in serving the customers to the best of their efforts. The 2019 winners were recently announced and we saw some distributors emerging high on the benchmark of Customer Satisfaction.

A very delighted Randy Krieger, President of Ford Direct Markets said, “These awards are not only the ranking of a survey result: they are a measure of leadership, of commitment, and of hard work. These are the crucial characteristics of high-performing organisations; organisations such as this year’s winners who deliver outstanding performance to their customers, employees, and shareholders.”

Ford Direct Markets Awards play a crucial role in instilling a sense of hard-work and achievement amongst the distributors. The awards ensure that Sales and Services Customer View Point (CVP) is of paramount importance. Among other criteria in choosing the winner, New Vehicle Sales, Parts Purchases Sales, and Ford Standards Financial Reporting also play an important role in recognising the hard work of distributors in promoting and propagating the Ford brand.

During the 2019 award programme, Ford proudly presented the felicitations to managers in the Middle East, North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa, choosing some of the Best Sales Directors and Managers for CVP, Best Service Directors and Managers for CVP, and Best Parts Directors and Managers for Part Sales.

Across all the Ford’s Direct Markets business units, total 14 winners were announced, from various countries like Angola, Egypt, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, New Caledonia, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Western Samoa.

Al Tayer Motors in the UAE, Oceanic Motors in the Seychelles, and Sime Darby Auto ConneXion in Malaysia managed to secure the top-position in the prestigious categories and were honoured one trophy from each. SCAMA in Morocco, for a continuous ninth time, bagged the Chairman’s award for exceptional customer service.

The annual Chairman’s Award programme is Ford’s unique way of thanking and recognising the efforts of its distributors across all the business units for their determination and hard-work in ensuring utmost commitment and contribution to Ford business.
