Ferrari is indirectly hinting the upcoming Purosangue SUV to be powered by this new V12 engine.Which latest celebrity has Porsche banned?
The Canadian singer, Justin Bieber has joined the likes of Kim Kardashian, 50 Cent, and Nicolas Cage.Starting with the production news first. Ferrari has announced the introduction of a brand new V12 engine. Yes, that's right. When automakers around the globe are busy either downsizing engines or electrifying cars, Ferrari is planning a massive V12 powertrain. Internal combustion engines are to stay for longer, it seems.
Ferrari's press release on the same issue read, "the V12 has always been an intrinsic part of Ferrari DNA", and will always be "a symbol of our relentless quest for new heights of performance and pure driving emotion".
The press release says the V12 will be the 'new thoroughbred's bloodline.' And guess the Italian for thoroughbred? It's Purosangue. So, is Ferrari indirectly hinting the upcoming Purosangue SUV to be powered by this new V12 engine? If that's the case, it would be a killing combination of style and performance.
Output and performance details? The company has kept the new V12 specs under wrap. However, if rumours are believed, the new V12 would generate at least 820 hp of power. If that's the case, the upcoming Purosangue would be the most powerful SUV on the market, and V12, the powerful petrol engine.

Moving on to the entertainment part of the news segment. Ferrari has blacklisted the youth pop icon, Justin Bieber. Why? For violating the brand's ownership terms and code of ethics.
The Canadian singer has joined the likes of Kim Kardashian, 50 Cent, and Nicolas Cage. He apparently changed the colour of his recently purchased Ferrari 458 and then auctioned it off. He got his car painted in electric blue (even the Prancing Horse badge) by the famous West Coast Customs. The modification also included a widebody kit, new alloy wheels, and custom lug nuts.
Here are a few terms Ferrari wants its owners' honour -
- No tampering with the engine
- No bodywork modifications
- No Ludicrous paintwork
- No covering up of the badge
- No selling of the car in the first year of ownership (Ferrari must authorize all future selling plans)
- Sanctioning of all modifications & customization by the automaker and must be performed by authorized parties only
In other news, Ferrari’s ex-Chef (Amedeo Felisa) will fill in as Aston Martin CEO. The British luxury carmaker wants him to emulate the Italian carmaker's success and electrification journey.
