Facelifted Audi A7 Sportback Brochure Released

Kuala Lumpur: A facelifted Audi A7 Sportback was finally launched in Malaysia as a brochure and price list of the car was updated on Audi Malaysia's official website. This facelift has given a sleek look to Audi A7 as compared to its predecessor.

Going by the changes, under the hood it is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine with direct fuel injection and a mechanical charging module. It is further mated to a seven-speed S Tronic transmission. This robust engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 333 hp at 5300- 6500 rpm along with a peak torque of 440 Nm at 2900-5300 rpm. From a position of halt, it takes just 5.3 seconds to reach an acceleration of 100 kmph along with a top speed of 250 kmph. As claimed by Audi, it can deliver a fuel consumption of 7.6 litre/100 km.

Talking about the exterior, Audi A7 Sportback now features a flatter single frame grille and LED headlights with range adjustment. It is also integrated with LED daytime running lights and LED rear tail lamps with dynamic indicators. Moreover, the exterior mirrors are integrated with automatic anti-glare action and electrically folding with memory function. It is further anchored with 5-spoke forged aluminium alloy wheels with tyres measuring 255/40 R19. Overall, the exterior body hints towards the company's updated design language with a sleeker look.

Moving towards the interior, it is fitted with Valcona leather comfort seats with electric seat adjustment and heating option for both front seats. Other features include a four-zone deluxe automatic air-conditioning system and a steering wheel with electric height and reach adjustment function. A 14-speaker BOSE surround system and a 600 W, 12-channel amplifier has also been provided. The main console consists of an 8-inch colour display with MMI navigation plus with MMI touch. Additional features include, a 7-inch driver information system with colour display and Audi connect with Navigation and Wi-Fi hotspot.

Its safety features include an eight airbag system, ISOFIX child seat mountings and anti-theft wheel bolts. It's impressive braking mechanism is further assisted with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). In Malaysia, this car is rolled out with a price tag of RM 625,900 (on road excluding insurance).
