Everrati’s Porsche 911 964 electric coupe revealed
Restomods are quite a rage these days, particularly the ones fitted with electric drivetrains. Its recent example is a battery-powered Porsche 911 modified by Everrati. Founded in 2019, Everrati Automotive Limited is a U.K.-based company that restores and modifies classic car models and makes them suitable for the electrified era. Its latest model is based on the iconic 964-generation of the Porsche 911.
To fully restore the model, the tech company worked on the bodywork, powertrain, suspension, as well as interior. It first stripped down the car to monocoque for an in-depth inspection, then refabrication was done at the necessary points to make it up to the mark. After that, the car was decked up in a carbon fiber widebody kit. Everrati replaced the original steel front and rear wings as well as the hood, with custom-built carbon fiber parts to make the car lighter.
Under the hood, Everrati's Signature Porsche 911 gets a battery-powered electric powertrain, which according to the specialist delivers a maximum power output of 500 hp along with a peak torque of 500 Nm. This makes the car more powerful than the original 964. It can clock the century sprint in less than four seconds and can cover a distance of 240 km on a single charge. The 53-kWh battery pack can be charged from 10 to 100% in less than an hour, using a DC fast charger.
In line with engine modifications, Everrati upgraded other components as well. It includes drilled and vented brake discs, larger Brembo calipers, and new 17 and 18-inch alloy wheels. As for suspension, two packages are on offer, a standard set-up with fixed Coilover and fully adjustable dampers for more performance.
The interior changes include a customized air-conditioning system, a new infotainment system from Porsche, power-adjustable seats with optional leather Alcantara and Porsche-inspired gauges.
“When we launched Everrati in 2019, it was our mission to create the most desirable, technically advanced, sustainable, zero-emission iconic cars in the world,” says Justin Lunny, Founder & CEO of Everrati Automotive Limited.
“To fulfill that vision, and to provide discerning customers with a peerless product engineered with industry-leading technology, rigor, and attention to detail, we assembled an elite engineering team from OEM, supercar, motorsport, aerospace, and EV technology backgrounds,” Lunny further added.
The price of the Everrati Signature Porsche 911 EV starts from £250,000 (RM 1,464,615), excluding the cost of the donor car.
