EON revamps Proton centre in Banting; now offers after-sales services

KUALA LUMPUR: The wholly-owned subsidiary of DRB-Hicom, EON (Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad), has inaugurated its revamped Proton 3S centre in Banting, Selangor. Formerly operating as a showroom only, the upgraded centre has undergone significant improvements to now offer sales, after-sales service, and spare parts replacement to Proton customers in the region.

The key highlights of EON’s Proton 3S centre are as follows -

• With a total investment of RM 6 million, the upgraded outlet spans across a total area of 18,775 sq ft
• It includes a spacious showroom that can display eight Proton cars at once and a 12,347 sq ft service centre with ten service bays.
• The service centre is equipped with state-of-the-art technology offering efficient and reliable servicing of different Proton cars.
• The facility has ample parking space, providing enhanced convenience to customers during visits.
• With the refurbishment of the facility, EON has also undertaken a digitisation initiative. It has introduced the Workforce Management platform for online car servicing appointments with real-time service updates.

“The revamped and the newly refurbished showroom will allow us to raise the game in terms of customer’s experience, while its strategic location will make it very convenient for the residents of Banting and the surrounding areas to access our 3S centre, whether it is for the purchase of new cars, or for after-sales servicing,” he added.

Operational hours (showroom)	Monday to Saturday - 8:30 am to 6:30 pm Sunday and public holidays -  10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Operational hours (Service centre)	Monday to Friday - 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Saturday - 8:30 am to 1:00 pm
