Changan Alsvin has Kick-started in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: The Changan Alsvin has been revealed in Malaysia, which was known in its home country China. This car is familiar to everyone due to its previous sightings, where a unit of this was seen parked outside the house of reader and another in Johor.
However, it was seen first time with license plates- rather than with trade platers. Regarding the looks of the car, it is similar to a warped version of the first-generation Mazda 3- which is not as bad. The car is featured by a JL475QD DOHC petrol engine of 1.5 litre pumping out 97 hp and 137 Nm of torque.
Options related to the transmission involve a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic gearbox. Dimensions related to measurement include a length of 4,360 mm, a width of 1,710 mm and a height of 1,475 mm. The speed of wheelbase is at 2,515 mm. Equipments regarding safety include ABS, EBD, two airbags and audible seatbelt reminders, along with convenience in traffic control form and rear parking sensors.
Changan Auto has produced subcompact car named Alsvin. The concept is called V101, which was revealed in April 2008 at Beijing motor show. A three-box sedan has started to roll off the line in Chongquing on Feb., 2007. Dambrosio Luciano has designed the Alsvin at Changan office in Turin, Italy.
