Carmakers & their social distancing message!
Coronavirus is bringing the world together in a way that never happened before. However, when we say ‘together’, we mean in the same mental space and not physically, for the obvious reasons. Social distancing is said to be the key weapon in the war against this deadly virus. Here, check out how automakers are motivating and educating people on social distancing via their social media handles.
Audi, a simple yet strong message
Audi released a video, wherein its four-ring logo is seen disintegrating, thus telling the viewers the necessity of maintaining sufficient distance from one another. The four rings are then seen coming together, forming the original logo, emphasising on the importance of staying safe with your loved ones.
Mercedes-Benz, always protecting & grateful
In Mercedes-Benz’s video, we see a GLE protecting its owner’s home, thus coveying the automaker’s impeccable safety record. Further, along with the video, the carmaker thank each and every person working tirelessly towards controlling the virus and treating the ill in these critical times.
BMW, emphases on flatting the curve
BMW owners are mostly driving enthusiasts, for whom empty roads are like chunks of heaven where they can enjoy a speedy yet beautiful ride. Today, when roads are all quite, BMW urges everyone to control their driving temptation. It says the need of the hour is to flatten the curve and it can only happen by staying indoors.
Skoda, not the time for a road trip
Skoda’s video shows a Rapid parked in a garage, and the screen then reads ‘a car which is prepared for any journey can wait.’ And then the garage door slowly closes and the screen this time reads ‘stay home, stay safe.’ So folks, we request you to stay at your home and spend some quality time with your loved ones.
Volkswagen, stress on social distancing
In line with Audi’s video, Volkswagen also gives a strong social distancing message. In the video, we see the V and the W in the new 2D logo moving apart from one another. A smart thing to do, in such times, we must say.
We know guys, sitting at home could be a bit overwhelming, but stay calm as this time shall too pass, however, until that happens, here is a list of motoring moves and books you can enjoy.
