BYD Malaysia rolls out Standard and Plus after-sales service packages
KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, Sime Darby Motors, has come up with new after-sales service packages offering customers an enhanced level of satisfaction and support.

BYD Service Standard Package
The BYD Service Standard Package can be taken for three, six, or eight years at the following price -
- 3 years or 60,000 km - RM 1,688
- 6 years or 120,000 km - RM 3,888
- 8 years or 160,000 km - RM 4,888
This package covers essential services like reducer oil service, brake fluid service, drive motor coolant service, replacement of air conditioning filter, and air conditioning system refrigerant service.
BYD Service Plus Package
The BYD Service Plus Package is available for six or eight years at the below-mentioned price -
- 6 years or 120,000 km - RM 7,888
- 8 years or 160,000 km - RM 12,888
Over and above the essential servicing, buyers get additional services with the Plus Package. These include the replacement of several components like windscreen washer fluid, front and rear wiper blades, front and rear brake pads, and front and rear brake discs. The replacement of the remote control battery and 12V battery are also included in the package.
Additionally, the Chinese automaker also offers exceptional body and paint services. Buyers can get this service across three BYD centres in Malaysia, including Penang, Bukit Jelutong in the Klang Valley, and Johor Bahru. These facilities are equipped with advanced mechanical and paint bays for minor and major body repair work.

Sime Darby Motors has the highest standard of body and paint centres that are approved by insurance panels, strategically located in Penang, Klang Valley and Johor Bahru.”
