Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition displayed at Bentley Kuala Lumpur showroom
KUALA LUMPUR: You can find the Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition showcased at the company’s Kuala Lumpur showroom with all grace and poise. It is one of 100 units built to pay homage to the founding father of the company, Walter Owen Bentley, with each car featuring a genuine piece of Bentley history.
The GK 706 8 Litre model was the last model designed by W.O. Bentley in 1930. A piece of whose crankshaft has been incorporated inside each limited edition model of Mulsanne. At the rear, you’d notice a piece of the engine included in the centre fold-down armrest, which is a cooled case. This is another piece of history that’s been included. Along with the show window that has the engine piece, the armrest has the front of 8 Litre model depicting its headlights and large matrix grille.
Some other noticeable bits inside the Mulsanne W.O. Edition are Newmarket Tan leather with Beluga hide, Dark Stained Burr Walnut wood trim, logos on the seatbacks and dashboard wood trim. Additionally, there are some interesting exterior badges near the front wheels and on the door sills.
Under the hood, the Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition gets a V8 twin-turbo 6.75-litre engine that’s capable of making out 512 PS of power and 1020 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that transfers power to the rear wheels. The setup is good to take the car from nought to 100 kmph in just 5.3 seconds.
The Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition is priced at RM1.8 million (without taxes and Malaysian duties).
