Audi Malaysia launches its official service center in KL

Kuala Lumpur: Audi Malaysia has officially launched it's Audi Service Kuala Lumpur station in collaboration with Euromobil Sdn Bhd. The facility was operational already from September this year. Now, the company has upgraded and relocated the new service center in KL. The all new facility is located in Jalan Chan Sow Lin which is just 300 meters away from the older building. Audi Malaysia is looking forward to catering around 11,040 units per year which has been up by 2500 from its earlier station. The facility is finely upgraded to fulfill all the demands of the Audi vehicle servicing over a period of five years from now on.

The all new facility was built at a cost of RM11.3 million and was completed on August 31, 2015. The upgraded service facility has a total area of 46,974 square feet which includes a build-up area of 34,272 sq ft from its starting position to the end. The workshop in this facility is spread over an area of 10,247 square feet, whereas the parts warehouse is built-up on 1,866 square feet. The German carmaker has invested a total sum of RM2.3 million on the advanced tools and technology to be used in this facility. Apart from the area, the facility now holds a staff of 47 earlier which was only 27. This increment in the team will result in around 11,000 service throughputs annually.

The facility comprises of three reception bay's, among which one is specially allocated to Audi R8. For all the standard bays, the facility comprises 26 bays that includes alignment and balancing bay and the brake and suspension tester bay. The service center boasts a capacity to service a total number of 40 Audi vehicles each day.
