Audi A7 Sportback released in Malaysia at RM626k
Kuala Lumpur: Audi has officially announced the introduction of Facelift Audi A7 Sportback in Malaysia. The company has given the A7 Sportback a minor facelift, focused on updating the five-door coupe's looks, tweaking its engines and offering new technology.
The exterior styling of the refreshed Audi A7 Sportback includes the introduction of the German brand's more angular Singleframe grille, updated exhausts, as well as more aggressive squared-off front and rear bumpers.

Besides these mild tweaks to the design, major development is the addition of LED technology as standard. Buyers are also able to option Matrix LED headlamps designed to maximize visibility while reducing glare for oncoming vehicles. These come with dynamic turn signals that are fitted as standard on the taillights.
A7 Sportback's luggage volume compartment is electrically operated and can occupy stuff up to the volume of 535 litres. With seats down, the boot space can be expanded to 1,390 litres. In addition, a fresh choice of five color options that extends to the seats and new interior materials is also provided. An up front “Aluminium Delta” dashboard trim and “Valcona” leather seats with electric seat adjustment and ventilation for both front seats, and leather-covered sports steering wheel and gear knob are Audi A7 Sportback's highlights.

When it comes to technology, the A7 Sportback feature a revised top-spec infotainment system. Called MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch, this latest generation technology includes a Nvidia-developed graphics processor and is paired with Audi connect. The “Audi Connect” functionality with Google Earth and WiFi hotspot connects to the Internet via LTE transmission from the SIM card on board.
The entertainment kit remains unchanged with a 6-DVD changer coupled with a Bose sound system with 12-channel amplifier and 14 speakers. Standard comfort features for the facelift now include adaptive air suspension which can be customised from the MMI, MMI touchpad and an updated eight-inch colour display screen (6.5-inch previously). On top of this, there’s Audi phone box to improve mobile reception via the antenna and a Bang & Olufsen sound system is available as well.
Under the skin, Audi A7 Sportback equips 3.0-litre TFSI V6 petrol engine with direct fuel injection churns out maximum power output of 333 HP and 440 Nm of torque from 2,900 to 5,300 rpm. The turbo-six is mated to a seven-speed S Tronic transmission and Quattro permanent all-wheel drive. The powertrain sprints the car from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.3 seconds (0.3 seconds faster than its predecessor). It has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h with combined fuel consumption of 7.6 litres per 100 km.

Its safety features include an eight airbag system, ISOFIX child seat mountings and anti-theft wheel bolts. It's impressive braking mechanism is further assisted with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).

Even more, customers are provided with exterior color options to choose their favorite one from the list - Glacier White, Ibis White, Floret Silver, Dakota Grey, Oolong Grey, Tornado Grey and Mythos Black. In Malaysia, this car is rolled out with a price tag of RM 625,900 (on the road, excluding insurance).
