Audi A3 Carbon Edition Launched in Malaysia, Limited to 30 Units

Kuala Lumpur: With only thirty limited edition units available, Audi Malaysia is all set to roll out Audi A3 Carbon Edition. The automaker promises that it would feature an exclusive range of items that guarantees an individualistic appearance. This model would be based on Audi A3 1.4-litre TFSI which was rolled out last year in the month of August.

'Vorsprung Durch Technik'- the main advertising slogan of Audi which means 'Advancement through technology' has also been applied to this car along with the essence of premium upgrades. Audi A3 Carbon Edition guarantees driving pleasure further assisted with confident performance and timeless elegance. Currently, it is only available in Glacier white colour and would include a line-up of features.

It has been designed in an exclusive black styling package which consist of a glossy black front spoiler, tailgate spoiler, side skirts, carbon fibre side mirror caps and rear apron. Further, it is anchored with 18-inch five-arm rotor design wheels covered in black matt. Moving towards the interior, it gets Alcantara/leather combination sport seats, front and rear parking sensors along with keyless entry system.

Nothing much has been revealed about its engine, but the base A3 Sedan is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged which is further coupled with a seven-speed dry dual clutch S Tronic transmission. It is capable of producing a maximum power of 122 hp and 200Nm of torque. It completes a 0-100 kmph sprint in 9.3 seconds along with a top speed of 205 km/h and delivers a mileage of 4.9 litres/100 km.

The standard A3 Sedan was rolled out with a price tag of RM179,900, but this Carbon Edition would cost you around RM194,333. Immo Buschmann, Managing Director of Audi Malaysia said- “As we ramp our presence in Malaysia, I am looking forward to introducing more products that broaden the range of our offerings for customers that want something a little more exclusive.”
