In Hennessey Special Vehicles founder and CEO, John Hennessey’s words, the Venom F5 was created “to be the ultimate expression of a hypercar. The Roadster version takes the Coupe’s speed, exhilaration, and awe, plus a sprinkling of respect-inducing fear, to a new, truly visceral level that brings owners closer to the Venom F5’s extreme performance. Our 1,817 bhp ‘Fury’ engine screams behind the exposed cockpit, with its roar unobstructed by a roof – it is an unmatched automotive experience.”

Engine
Like its fixed-roof sibling, the Venom F5 Roadster is also equipped with the company’s Fury 2 6.6-litre V8 twin-turbo powertrain generating maximum power of 1,817 hp at
8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 1,617 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The drive is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed single-clutch automated gearbox.

Exterior
In terms of exterior design language, the F5 Roadster looks quite similar to its coupe sibling. Obviously with some design amendments to enable an open-air experience. The car's roof has been re-engineered with a rigid carbon fibre removable panel that is lined with Alcantara upholstery. The weatherproof panel comes secured with a pair of high-strength latches and four quick-release bolts to withstand the car’s acceleration capabilities and aerodynamic forces at extreme speed. The roof panel weighs just 8 kg making its installation and removal extremely easy, a single-person job.
To enhance the customer ownership experience, the automaker is offering either a bespoke Merino wool travel bag or a standalone work-of-art sculptural pedestal.
In addition to the removable roof, the car also features a new tempered glass window through which the onlookers can view the Fury engine in its full glory. As per the automaker, the task of creating the viewing window was not at all easy with appropriate consideration required for the heat generated by the V8 mill and aerodynamic forces generated at speeds over 482.8 kmph.
Also, an integral part of the car’s exterior kit is its seven-spoke forged alloy wheels with either a silver finish or polished aluminium, both fitted with titanium bolts.
