Earlier today Proton Malaysia officially launched the all-new 2023 Exora at the PROTON KEB Auto Sdn Bhd, TTDI Kajang, Selangor.

On the introduction of the 2023 Exora company’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Roslan Abdullah said, “The 2023 Proton Exora, Malaysia’s first home-grown MPV, is designed and built with Malaysia’s rakyat in mind. With this latest update, we took a class-leading product and made it even better for drivers and passengers alike, across a variety of applications, by reinforcing its proposition of power, space, and value. With more than 180,000 units sold over 13 years, the Proton Exora is Malaysia’s best-selling C-Segment MPV and to this day retains that position,”

For the model year 2023, Proton’s 7-seater MPV benefited from styling updates, extra space, along with intelligent and exhilarating performance. Over the course of 13 years, Proton Malaysia has sold over 180,000 units of the Exora, thus making it the country’s best-selling C-segment MPV.

The all-new Exora is offered in two variant options - 1.6T Executive CVT and 1.6T Premium CVT. Interested customers can book the updated MPV online or at any of Proton’s authorized dealerships nationwide. Below you can find new Exora’s price list (on-the-road without insurance)

The car benefits from LED daytime running lamps that no matter shine or rain gives the Exora a thrilling exterior appeal.

The new Exora rides on 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels that give the MPV a new, sporty appeal.

One of the most useful updates the Exora gets comes in the form of electric folding door mirrors that protects the car from scratches while fitting into tight spaces.

The exterior design gets an extra edge thanks to the new, extraordinary design language. Part of which is also the sleek and stylish side skirtings.

The new Exora is more spacious than ever. The three rows of the seven-seater MPV offer a flexible seating configuration that fits owners' everyday needs.

The Exora offers the practicality and luxury of space which comes in handy for the long haul. The MPV also gets ten cup & bottle holders, a 60:40 split fold & tumble 2nd row, and a 50:50 split fold 3rd-row seat.

Sitting in between the dashboard is Exora’s 7-inch infotainment head unit that helps passengers stay connected with the world. Its system offers several amenities like - online navigation, online music streaming, 4G & Wi-Fi connectivity, online weather forecast, Bluetooth connectivity, and smartphone connectivity.

The cabin is loaded with several comfort and convenience features like multi-functional steering with audio and hands-free telephone control, LCD multi-information display, power windows, front seat armrest, 2nd-row seat armrest, and front air-con with N95 cabin filter, and 2nd & 3rd-row air vents.

Under the Exora’s hood lies the tried and trusted 1.6-litre turbocharged engine generating maximum power of 140 PS along with a peak torque of 250 Nm. The mill is paired with a CVT transmission along with PROTON’s ride and handling that offer adventure in every drive.

Making a long journey fun is the MPV’s Cruise Control function which drives the car at the driver’s preferred speed without needing to keep the foot on the pedal.

Making commuting on those slippery roads fun and safe is the car’s electronic stability control that helps the driver maintain control around the corners.

Parking in tight spots is not a problem anymore all thanks to the reverse camera that reflects the rear view on the infotainment head unit.

The new Exora packs a strong standard safety kit that includes - two SRS airbags, an anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, electronic stability control, emergency stop signal, rear parking sensors, and immobilizer & anti-theft alarm.
