All-new 2023 Honda BR-V arrives in the Philippines; Malaysia still waiting
KUALA LUMPUR: At the ongoing Philippines International Motor Show 2022, Honda unveiled the much-awaited BR-V. While our neighbours can not hold their excitement, we are wondering if and when the all-new Honda subcompact SUV will set its foot on Malaysian soil. One of the most recent countries the new BR-V graced with its launch were Thailand and Indonesia.

Powering the 2023 BR-V is a 119hp/145 Nm 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine.Coming back to the Philippines-spec 2023 BR-V, the car is slated for a launch soon and with its arrival the likes of Mitsubishi Xpander Cross will experience stiff competition.
The BR-V is one of Honda’s best-selling models in the segment as it is a complete package of style, advanced features, comfort, versatility, spaciousness, and safety. For the model year 2023, Honda has taken the car’s looks and specs to another level.
On the outside, the new BR-V showcases a rugged, aggressive aura, however, it all looks quite settled and classy at the same time. The main highlighting elements at the front are the pronounced grille and aggressive headlights. Also, the strong character lines from front to all the way back give the car that required a spicy element.
The cabin as expected is super comforting and spacious. It is also pleasing to the eyes, thanks to the usual dark surfaces and contrasting pieces of trim. Other highlighting bits include -

So, a 119hp/145 Nm 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine may be available on cars in the Philippines. The transmission option includes a continuously variable transmission and together with the mill gives the car a mileage count of 16.1 kmph.
