Speaking of which, the 2022 Suzuki GSX-S950 is powered by a 999cc inline, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled mill that makes a maximum power of 95 PS at 7,800 rpm along with a peak torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The same unit in the GSX-S1000 pumps out 152 PS at 11,000 rpm and 106.6 Nm at 9,250 rpm.
The new Suzuki GSX-S950 is designed keeping in mind both the new and experienced riders. Compared to the GSX-S1000 it comes with a lower specs sheet, making it a value-for-money proposition for riders who require a four-cylinder Suzuki but don’t want to pay a premium for it.
On the braking and suspension front are twin Tokico callipers with quad 30 mm brake piston. Also, part of the kit is non-adjustable upside-down KYB front forks. The GSX-S1000, on the other hand, comes with Brembo four-piston callipers with 32 mm piston and a full-adjustable gold-anodised KYB forks.
Other features include three-mode traction control, and the brand's low rpm assist that prevents the bike from stalling out at starts and low speed. In terms of design and styling, the new GSX-S950 resembles the GSX-S1000 and it even gets the stacked twin LED headlights.
Suzuki is offering the 2022 GSX-S950 in three hues - Metallic Triton Blue, White/Red, and Matte Black. As for the pricing, Suzuki is yet to announce a figure but taking the clue from the GSX-S1000 it might retail from around 10,999 pounds sterling (approx. RM 63,921).
