Added confidence to customers with Honda Malaysia “I’m Vaccinated” campaign

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Malaysia’s “I’m Vaccinated” campaign calls for added safety and confidence for the customers and dealership staff.

The automaker and its dealers are committed to ensuring that all the personnel are getting their vaccination shots. Around 80 percent of the Honda dealers have received their full vaccinations and only people with complete doses are appointed back on duty at the dealerships.

Under the said campaign, all the Honda dealership staff that are fully vaccinated will get a specially-designed badge and mask with the “I Am Fully Vaccinated” logo.

Honda Malaysia is aiming to achieve 100 percent vaccination of its dealers by October this year.

Honda Malaysia’s Managing Director and CEO, Madoka Chujo said, “We are thankful that our car production has resumed operations and Honda dealerships can carry out sales and after-sales services to serve our customers. We will not take the SOPs lightly and will continue to strictly follow all the necessary preventive and precautionary measures that we have been practising since the emergence of Covid-19 in Malaysia.”

Chujo further added, “We believe this initiative can help to boost customer confidence during interactions with Honda dealer associates by showing that we are ready to meet and serve the customers in a safe environment as well as providing them peace of mind while being present at the dealerships. We also hope to encourage more people to get vaccinated, in addition to adhering to the SOPs at all times.”

In addition to ensuring complete vaccination of its staff, Honda will continue to ensure disinfection and sanitisation of the dealership on a routine basis.
