During the event, ACO Tech also launched a white paper titled “Application Scenarios and Data Governance of Connected Vehicles in Malaysia,” which examines the challenges and opportunities of connected vehicle data in the country. The paper outlines recommendations for improving data integration, road safety, and traffic management through emerging technologies like 5G, AI, and big data.
The event was attended by several key figures, including the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Yang Berhormat Tuan Chang Lih Kang, and leaders from ACO Tech and PROTON. In conjunction with the anniversary, ACO Tech also revealed a new logo, symbolizing the company’s renewed vision and commitment to advancing smart mobility.
Reflecting on the company’s progress since its inception in 2019, ACO Tech’s CEO, Li Pu, highlighted the company’s achievements, including building a network of over 300,000 connected cars in Malaysia and forming strategic partnerships across various sectors.

We have combined local and international talents to develop new technologies that meet current and future consumer demands. ATLAS Re:Imagine is a testament to our commitment to advancing technology and delivering exceptional value to the industry, benefiting our customers, partners, and the country. One of the key highlights from the event was ACO Tech’s announcement that they are working on integrating YouTube, TikTok, and gaming apps into the ATLAS infotainment systems in Proton vehicles. Additionally, they are developing AI-based enhancements for the navigation system, designed to optimize journey times and provide accurate toll cost estimates. ACO Tech emphasized their commitment to continually updating the ATLAS navigation system, revealing that they have already implemented over 400 updates since its integration into the latest generation of Proton cars.
