2024 Range Rover Evoque to land on Malaysian shores soon

KUALA LUMPUR: Globally revealed in June this year, the all-new 2024 Range Rover Evoque facelift is set to arrive on local shores in January 2024. An exclusive preview of the new Evoque facelift will be held during the Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia roadshow at Bangsar Shopping Centre from January 3 to 7, 2024.

The upgraded version of the premium SUV features a new signature grille mated to an even sleeker pair of pixel LED headlights. The new headlights have an innovative design with four-pixel modules containing 67 precisely controlled LEDs. Also new for the 2024 model year are new daytime running lights and tail lights sporting a distinctive lighting signature.

The new Range Rover Evoque is also likely to come with an updated palette of colours. For reference, the global-spec model received three new tones - Tribeca Blue, Corinthian Bronze, and Arroios Grey.

Inside, the 2024 Range Rover Evoque will come kitted with a new 11.4-inch infotainment system replacing the split screen setup found on the predecessor. It is powered by the latest-gen Pivi Pro 2 software and supports wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto connectivity. According to Land Rover, the new infotainment system can let users do almost 80% of the tasks with just two taps on the home screen.  

The facelifted SUV also gains a new central console with bigger stowage capacity and a wireless smartphone charging pad. Other updates that are likely to be offered include a new cabin air filtration system, a 3D 360-degree camera, connected car technology, and new options for interior finishes.

As far as the mechanical setup is concerned, Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia has confirmed that the new Range Rover Evoque will come equipped with an Ingenium petrol engine technology proven for fuel efficiency, responsiveness, and smoothness. The exact specifications of the mill are yet to be revealed.
