2024 Kia Picanto facelift leaked ahead of its imminent reveal

KUALA LUMPUR: The all-new 2024 Kia Picanto facelift is due sometime later this month, however, ahead of its reveal the internet treats us with the hatchback’s leaked images. The car is expected to debut in several international markets by the end of this year.

Overall, this is Picanto’s second update, with the first facelift presented back in 2020. However, the main question is what does the latest facelift bring to the table. Let us check out -

• The latest Picanto facelift seems to draw inspiration from the Kia EV9 electric SUV
• At the front, the facelifted model showcases vertical headlamps linked by a chrome bar, lower apron with a large faux intake, and several body-color inserts
• The side profile gets EV9-inspired alloy wheels
• The rear end sports LED light bar connecting the redesigned tail lights

• The interior looks more or less the same as the previous-gen model with notable visions seen on the digital instrument cluster as well infotainment system (new graphics)
• The safety and powertrain are expected to get minor updates, however, nothing is confirmed yet

Kia Picanto in Malaysia

The Picanto hatchback was part of Kia Malaysia’s lineup, however, the car has been absent from the scene for a while now. Will Kia bring it back, is still a question.
