  • The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS price in Malaysia starts from RM 2,630,000 (including duties and excluding registration fees, road tax, and insurance). Each purchase is accompanied by a four-year manufacturing warranty.

Under the hood of the new Porsche sports car lies a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated 6-cylinder Boxer engine that cranks out a maximum power of 525 hp and a peak torque of 465 Nm. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) gearbox enabling the car to run from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds and attain a top speed of 296 kmph.

The advanced aerodynamics of the new 992-generation GT3 RS truly sets it apart from its predecessors. It features -

    • A rear wing that sits taller than the roof contributing to the active aerodynamics
    • Drag Reduction System, which optimises speed and improves manoeuvrability on the track
    • Suspension system optimised for aerodynamics; the double-wishbone with a teardrop cross-section enhances downforce by 40 kg at the car’s top speed
    • Larger fender louvres on the front
    • New door design for better airflow from the front wheels
    • An active slat system in the front splitter
    • Redesigned rear diffuser

The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS runs on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged light-alloy centre-lock wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres. As for the braking, it gets 408 mm six-piston brake discs at the front and 380 mm four-piston brake discs at the rear.

Several components of the car are made up of carbon fibre elements, including doors, roof, front lid, front wings, and bucket seats. This effectively counterbalances the weight of advanced high-performance technology. The RS sports car tips the scale at 1,450 kg, a mere 15 kg above the standard GT3 model.

Size-wise, the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS measures 4,572 mm in length, 2,027 mm in width, and 1,322 mm in height. The wheelbase is measured at 2,467 mm.

Standard equipment kit also comprises - LED headlamps, LED rear lamps, GT-sports steering wheel, two 7-inch displays, and Black leather, Racetex, and carbon-weave upholstery. Two optional packs - Clubsport package and Weissach Package are also available at an additional cost.

Upon introducing the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Christopher Hunter, CEO of SDAP said, “The new 911 GT3 RS resembles a race car more closely than ever before, offering near Cup car-like performance for our growing base of track enthusiast customers. Having proven itself both on the racetrack and the road, we are delighted to introduce this highly anticipated model during the second Porsche Carrera Cup Asia race weekend in Malaysia, with motorsport passion in the air.”
