All the variants are powered by a 2.0-litre SkyActiv-G naturally-aspirated petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 156 PS and a peak torque of 200 Nm. That power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission
In terms of cosmetic upgrades, the SUV gets a new front grille bracketed by newly designed headlights with LED daytime running lights. The bumpers on both ends are also new along with new tail lights. Also part of the kit is an electric trunk (with a boot kick system), 19-inch wheels, and double-glazed front doors.
The Vietnamese-spec Mazda CX-5 comes in six colour shades - White, Grey, Red, Blue, Black and a new Metallic Gold.
The interior features a sophisticated design with high-class amenities like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 7-inch instrument display, an automatic folding rearview mirror with glass drying, a 10-speaker Bose system, and i-Activsense safety equipment package.

When will the new Mazda CX-5 facelift come to Malaysia?
While there is no official information yet available regarding the local arrival of the Mazda CX-5 facelift, it is worth noting that it is on sale in Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Considering that, it is likely to hit the Malaysian market soon.
