2023 GAC GS3 Emzoom introduced; now heading towards Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, GAC’s new SUV has made its global debut and soon it will grace the Malaysian market. However, before the new four-wheeler's arrival, which has already been confirmed by the automaker, it is a good idea to know it a little bit better. Right?
To begin with, the 2023 GAC GS3 Emzoom was unveiled in its home country, China, earlier this year. And now the SUV made its global debut with its official launch in the Philippines. Therefore, all the information we’ll be sharing today is based on the Philippines-spec model. So, let's get started.

Price & Variants

The 2023 GAC GS3 Emzoom is offered in three variant options, namely GS, GB, and GL. They are priced as follows -

Powertrain

All the variants of the 2023 GAC GS3 Emzoom are powered by a 1.5 liter turbocharged inline-four petrol engine. The mill generates a max power output of 177 PS at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 270 Nm from 1,400 rpm to 4,500 rpm. The drive is sent to the front wheels via a seven-speed wet-dual-clutch transmission.

GAC GS3 Emzoom in Malaysia

As mentioned, GAC has already confirmed GS3 Emzoom's arrival for the local market, however, it is yet to share the details. The car’s launch will be part of the company’s CKD project worth RM 60 million which also includes the establishment of 70 outlets.
