2021 Toyota Hilux new accessories released in the UK

KUALA LUMPUR: The latest version of Toyota's wildly popular mid-size truck Hilux made its global debut back in June with bolder looks, updated tech, and improved performance. And now, it gets the company’s largest range of approved accessories in the UK market, including more than 40 individual items suiting all budgets. The add-on features aim to make the pick-up even more practical, secure, and stylish.

Toyota has divided the aftermarket accessories into two parts - chrome elements for the Hilux Invincible trim and matte black finish for Invincible X. A full chrome sports bar, sidebars with integrated steps, and an aluminum roll cover are available for the former, while the same accessories in matt black finish are there for the latter.

The work/leisure accessories for the rear deck compartment include:

• Bespoke lockable storage boxes for the back edge or sides of the load space
• Sliding deck floor for easier loading and unloading of heavy items, up to 300 kg in weight
• Textured non-slip surface and tie hooks for extra security

For extra protection of bed and side panels, the Hilux can be accessorized with a choice of liners, including polyurethane, aluminum, and spray-on types.

Bed covers available for the 2021 Toyota Hilux comprise:

• Hard-top in a color matching with the truck's paintwork along with pop-out side windows and interior LED lighting 
• Lockable aluminum tonneau cover
• Manual roll-cover in black or aluminum
• Soft cover in hard-wearing vinyl

Other accessories on offer are:

• Tow bars with multi-use seven- and thirteen-pin adaptors
• Floor mats in hard-wearing rubber or textile
• High-beam lamps
• 18-inch matt black and 17-inch machined alloy wheels
• Alarm system and dash-cams

Toyota says that all accessories have been tested to ensure compliance with WLTP performance criteria. At the time of purchasing an all-new Hilux, the customers can include these add-ons as part of their vehicle finance package.
