2021 RAV4 goes missing from Toyota Malaysia website

What is the latest update on the RAV4?
Toyota has announced that it will be further enhancing the RVA4 in Japan with several technical upgrades.Well, only officials at UMW Toyota can answer these questions, and all we could do is analyze the recent developments around the RVA4. So, let’s get started and try to look for an answer.
It was nearly two years ago that Toyota Malaysia launched the 2021 RAV4 in the local market. Back then it was offered with two engine options - a 2.0-litre and a 2.5-litre unit, both naturally-aspirated.
The next big move came two months after the launch, wherein Toyota Malaysia dropped the 2.0-litre variant, leaving the RAV4 range with just one single model.
In the more recent past, i.e., in September 2021, Toyota launched the facelifted RAV4 in Europe, followed by Japan in December 2021.
In the future, Toyota has announced that it will be further enhancing the RVA4 in Japan with several technical upgrades. The updated Japanese version is expected to hit the showroom by October 2022.
So, it might be the case of temporary discontinuation with the new facelifted model (imported from Japan) on cards.
