2021 Honda CR-V launched in Thailand, gets intelligent safety technology

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda Automobile Thailand, the official distributor of the brand in Thailand, has launched the 2021 CR-V. Thus, making Honda the first country in the Asia and Oceania region to get the SUV icon. The car is a blend of luxury, premium-ness, and sportiness.

The exterior of it is tastefully designed with all the cuts and curves falling in the right place. A few of the outstanding design elements are -

  • Full LED headlights with DRL
  • LED Sequential turn lights
  • Full LED taillights
  • Panoramic electric sunroof with One-Touch on-off system
  • 18-inch sport design alloy wheels

2021 Honda CR-V CABIN

The cabin is very comforting and spacious. The company is offering the new CR-V in two seating configurations - 5-seater and 7-seater. In both the variants, we get to see the car decorated in wood and piano black material. Further, the SUV is packed with following premium comforting amenities -

2021 Honda CR-V rear

In Thailand, the all-new CR-V is available in two engine options - a 1.6-litre i-DIRECT 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine and a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine. The former makes 160 hp at 4,000 rpm and 350 Nm at 2,000 rpm and is paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 173 hp at 6,200 rpm and 224 Nm at 4,000 rpm, it is combined to a CVT automatic gearbox.
