2020 Mitsubishi Mirage and Attrage details out
KUALA LUMPUR: Full specification and equipment list of 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage and Attrage are declared at an unveiling show that took place on November 18 in Thailand, in which both the cars were revealed. The new Attrage and Mirage come with an array of additional features and a new look along with new interior trim.
Technically the new unveiled cars are the second facelift, and both feature the same face. It is the brand’s latest Dynamic Shield look. Also, there are prominent chrome bars present towards the large full-height grille. Moreover, there are broader headlights, angular fake air intakes, and squared-off bumper corners. The rear end of both the vehicles is similar as well, including the diffuser-like insert for the bumper and vertical reflectors.
Coming to the standard kit, there is a tilt-adjustable multifunction steering wheel, a manually height-adjustable driver’s seats, and a multi-info display. While on the other hand, the CVT models feature a front armrest. There is a GLS model that has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, push-button start, and keyless entry. On the other hand, the GLS-LTD features automatic headlights, auto climate control, cruise control, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and a leather gear knob.
Inside the cars, there some minor changes. New upholstery options are provided for the top of the line GLS-LTD model. The new Mirage gets a combination of a criss-cross fabric and faux leather pattern, while the seats of the new Attrage are full faux leather. All the models come with a new infotainment system that contains a seven-inch touchscreen. The system further has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and Siri Eyes Free voice control.
However, the powertrain of the cars remains the same as both the cars get a 3A92 1.2-litre MIVEC three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. It is capable of churning out a maximum power of 78 PS, while the peak torque is 100 Nm. The power is sent to the wheels via a five-speed manual transmission or a CVT.
New Mirage comes with a starting price tag of 474,000 baht (RM 65,300), while new Attrage starts from 494,000 baht (RM 68,100).
