2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport- Teaser Video Released

KUALA LUMPUR: The official video teaser of the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is out, whose images were leaked earlier. The teaser clip is released in Thailand to get going with its launch ahead in August 2015.

The clip says much about the upcoming car than the previous leaked images. It shows all the three profiles- front, side and rear quite nicely. The seven seater SUV's design is regarded as the most innovative one by the Japanese automaker. It gets the same 'Dynamic Shield' styling, which can be seen on the new Outlander and the sweeping lines across the SUV makes it look stylish.

The front profile depicts the new headlamps, which are equipped with LED daytime running lights, seen first time in Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. A fresh new look has been incorporated into the rear profile with the unconventional tail lights that move right down to the bottom into the bumper. The red strips at the rear aren't just the reflectors, but are the brake lights with LEDs.

The new SUV from Mitsubishi will be based on the company's model, named as Triton, which would compete against its top rival Toyota Fortuner, that is based on Toyota Hilux. Presently, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, in Malaysia is equipped with a 2.5 L commonrail diesel mill that yields a maximum of 136 PS power and 314 Nm torque, or a 2.4L VGT commonrail turbodiesel accompanied with 4 cylinders, which produces 178 PS power and 350Nm torque.

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GL is currently priced at RM 150,277, while the VGT variant of the same is valued at RM 171,211. Price for the 2016 Pajero Sport remains vague at the moment, as no official announcement has been made by the company officials.
