Jaguar F-Pace: Around the World
Kuala Lumpur: It happens rarely that one car is able to create equal buzz around the world. One by one, this British automaker is revealing its Jaguar F-Pace in many countries. Being the automaker's first SUV, this car is getting a lot of attention which it deserves and it also beautifully complements the current model lineup of Jaguar. Jaguar F-Pace is based on the CX17 concept which was revealed for the first time in 2013. Once this car gets launched in Malaysia, it would give a tough competition to BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC. In recent times, this Jaguar SUV has been a part of many events throughout the world. So let's take a look at its international timeline.
The journey started when after a lot of teasing, an official picture of F-Pace was released for the first time in September 2015. Then in the same month, it was officially unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. There it created a Guinness World Record by completing a 19.08-metre high 360-degree loop track. All this was possible due to its lightweight aluminium body and its 6.5G worth of force which helped it to complete this stunt.
The next stop was Delhi Auto Expo 2016 which was held in India starting from 4th February. This was much obvious as Jaguar Land Rover is owned by India-based Tata Motors now and it has future plans to capture the SUV market of India. Now the latest we hear is Jaguar F-Pace making the rounds on the frozen lake at Arjeplog, Sweden. This was a place which is not at all meant for driving as it is 64 km from the Arctic Circle and temperature here is as low as 30 degree Celsius. What made this possible is its all-wheel drive system and impressive stability.
Next on the list is Canada as Jaguar F-Pace would be showcased at the 2016 Canadian International Show which is scheduled to be held in Toronto from 12th February to 21st February 2016. We hope Malaysia is also on its priority list.
