These automakers have created a solid name for themselves in the supercar and hypercar arena, providing the wealthiest in the world with the rarest, fastest, and most stunning cars - in most cases also the most expensive cars.
When the discussion about the most expensive cars popped-up in one of our many conversations, the team got to work. Together, sheets were secured, leading to the discovery of some of the 10 most expensive cars in the world. The list includes cars for the royalty, several options from Buggati, and even a Mercedes.
It should be noted that the prices mentioned are for a new vehicle and not that of an auction or overpriced secondhand car.

Bugatti Mistral
Price: $5.0 million
Limited to just 99 units, the Mistral retails at around 5 million, all of which are already accounted for. Powering the Bugatti Mitral is the iconic W16 power plant generating a maximum power of 1,577 hp. With no roof, the Mistral features designed bits from the Chiron along with some elements from Divo and Bolide, making for a truly unique roadster.
Pagani Huayra Imola
Price: $5.4 million
The Pagani Huayra Imola is no less than the all-new Utopia which marks the next big step for the automaker. However, do not make the mistake of thinking Huayra Imola any less, as it is also powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine making a maximum power of 827 hp along with a peak torque of 1100 Nm. At $5.4 million, it is the second most expensive Pagani ever built.
Bugatti Divo
Price: $5.8 million
The Divo is one of the many recently added Bugatti cars and since its arrival is a staff favorite. The car has a lot in common with its slightly cheaper sibling Chiron, the Divo has a lot going on for itself which justifies its higher price tag. Thanks to the lighter wheels, carbon fiber intercooler, and removal of some sound deadening, the Divo is 35 kg lighter than the Chiron. While the power remains unchanged at 1,500 hp, the Divo features a different aerodynamic setup making it 8 sec faster. Limited to just 40 examples, each unit costs $5.8 million.
SP Automotive Chaos
Price: $6.4 million
Spyros Panopoulos Automotive (SP) is a fairly new name in the hypercar market. The Chaos with its $6.4 million price tag and 2,000 hp power output (from a 4.0-liter V10 twin-turbo) has not failed to make an impact in the industry. At $6.4 million, the Chaos even beats the many Bugatti and Lambos.
Pagani Codalunga
Price: $7.4 million
The Codalunga is the most expensive Pagani around. It is inspired by the 60s Italian coachbuilding, and the car showcases a stunning exterior and interior which justifies its pricey tag. Powering the Codalunga is a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 mill making 829 hp and 1100 Nm of torque. The drive is sent to the wheels via a 7-speed sequential transmission providing a real race-car-like feel.
Mercedes-Maybach Exelero
Price: $8.0 million
The Mercedes-Maybach Exelero is a one-off car commissioned by Fulda, a German subsidiary of Goodyear. The car made its debut in 2004 to test new tires by the brand. As the name suggests, the Exelero is built on the bones of Maybach and is powered by a 690 hp/1020 Nm twin-turbo V12 engine.
Bugatti Centodieci
Price: $9.0 million
The Bugatti Centodieci made its debut last year at the Pebble Beach car week. Limited to just 10 units, this ultra-rare, super-expensive model is a modern throwback to the Bugatti EB110. The car celebrates the automaker’s momentous 110-year anniversary and features unique styling clues. At $9 million, the Centodieci is one of the most expensive cars around.
Bugatti Chiron Profile
Price: $10.8 million
The Bugatti Chiron Profile is a one-of-a-kind car that might not seem that different from the normal Chiron. Built initially as a test for a limited run of Profile models, the car ended up being the only example. Powered by a 1,476 quad-turbocharged W16 mill, the car features unique bodywork and a custom spoiler.
Rolls-Royce Sweptail
Price: $12.8 million
Making it to the list is a car from Rolls-Royce, the Sweptail. This one-off car from the brand was introduced in 2017 with a monumental price tag of $13 million making it the most expensive new car ever. Outpriced since then, the 453 hp luxury car is a true head turner.
Bugatti La Voiture Noire
Price: $13.4 million
Time to welcome the most expensive Bugatti car ever produced, the La Voiture Noire. Priced at $13.4 million this one is a modern-day interpretation of Jean Bugatti’s personal Type 57 SC Atlantic. The car is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine generating 1,479 hp of maximum power. Part of its unique feature list is - six exhaust tips, an aggressive & bespoke fascia, radical new wheels, and a gigantic badge at the rear.
Rolls-Royce Boat Tail
Price: $20.8 million (estimated)
With the introduction of the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, the brand once again entered the business of coachbuilding. A successor of the 2017 Sweptail, the gorgeous car features a unique two-tone exterior, custom high-end cabin finishes, a champagne fridge, and a built-in sun umbrella. Rolls-Royce doesn’t reveal prices of such one-off builds, however, the Boat Tail is rumored to cost a whopping $20.8 million.
