2019 Porsche Panamera 10 Years Edition revealed

KUALA LUMPUR: 2019 Porsche Panamera 10 Years Edition has been introduced for completing ten years of its original four-door luxury sedan. The new car is available as Panamera 4 and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid along with its equivalent Sport Turismo counterparts in Germany. New styling features along with the extra standard equipment are available on the special edition model.

Speaking of its mechanical department, the Porsche Panamera 10 Years Edition comes with adaptive three-chamber air suspension along with the Porsche Active Suspension Management. Moreover, there is a Power Steering Plus for the driver’s convenience. A 7.2 kW onboard charger is provided to the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid that replaces the regular 3.6 kW unit.

Design-wise, the new sedan comes with a lot of changes that include

• 21-inch Panamera Sport Design wheels with White Gold Metallic finish
• “Panamera10” logo on the front doors
• Black partial leather interior having white gold decorative stitching
• Door entry guards with white gold paint

Speaking of the other standard features, there are LED matrix headlights having PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System) Plus, panoramic glass roof, heated 14-way comfort seats having the Porsche crest on the head restraints, Bose Surround Sound system and Digital radio. There are some other safety equipment also like Lane Keeping Assist having traffic sign recognition, Park Assist with reverse camera and Lane Change Assist.

Other than that, it gets the same 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine, which is capable of pushing out a maximum power of 330 PS along with 450 Nm. The 0-100 kmph sprint is completed in just 5.5 seconds, while the Sports Chrono Pack takes 0.2 seconds less.

On the other hand, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid comes with a hybrid system that combines an electric motor with a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. The combination can provide a maximum power of 462 PS along with a peak torque of 700 Nm. The maximum speed that the car can achieve is 278 kmph, before reaching that, the 100 kmph sprint can be gained in just 4.6 seconds.
